restart my german learning, hopefully reach the B1/B2 or even C1 lvl. learn to cook simple to medium complexity recipes and mind my diet especially in regards to processed foods start working out / swimming regularly, no particualr goal just consistence any and all gains are welcome however miniscule learn university level mathematics and computer science read "infinitely" more, close to if not zero rn What ? a new year ? damn so 2021 is here ! Muscles burn calories constantly, while running only does so when you actually run. If you need to lose weight, still focus on building muscles mostly, 3 days a week maybe, while doing cardio just once. There are friends that went to the gym along with me trying to lift as much as they could while doing the exercises wrong that aren't half as big as me, although they still use heavier weights than me. My young age (21) probably contributed to my rapid gains, but the core concept is the same for everyone. I never got so in shape, and I'm sure that if I didn't dislocate my shoulder once more and didn't get the covid, which together stopped me from going to the gym in the last two months, I'd have been lightly shredded.Īnd I began exercising in June on average 3 times a week, it's not like I was at the gym since January 1st every day, so I promise you that as long as you keep an eye on your diet and exercise regularly (DO NOT FORGET LEG DAYS, it's probably the most useful muscular group to work on to keep an overall good shape, helping both in balancing hormonal levels and weight loss) you'll get to your objective faster than you thought you would have. This year instead I went back to the gym after dislocating both my shoulders in the previous months, so I had to pay extra care to reducing the chances of injuries while working out, which meant using low weights and making the movements as precisely as possible. I went to the gym and failed so many times in the last 6 years, I always ended up still being fat but maybe with a little more buffed arms, nothing more. Next task is to uninstall JustEat (fast food app) and work on my health! My current poisen is Reddit and YouTube, mostly following areas that could offer something useful (hobbies and such). 'Oh you want to know how I get white teeth? Thanks for asking. There's also the real darkness of these platforms where so called 'influencers' review, rate and/recommend something(regardless of their expertise). I'm not easily triggered but I'd often see something controversial and it would take up my mental energy leaving me thinking.'what the f*ck?' The social media machine really does mess with our mental health. I often looked at Snapchat stories for a little bit of entertainment, but it finally had the same destiny as the others (uninstall). You've got to be careful with the TikTok videos people share with you, seeing the previews of the other videos after can easily draw you in to a black hole of crap. I never really (and still don't) use Instagram, Twitter or TikTok. It's 100% worth doing! The methods used to keep us hooked on the content in Facebook is insane, the time we waste just scrolling through endless trivial material. I quit Facebook around 18 months ago and kept Messenger. r/personalgrowthchannel (personal and professional growth) r/KaizenBrotherhood (self improvement, being your best self) r/GoodbyeDepression (overcome depression) r/DecidingToBeBetter (self motivation/self improvement) Have some feedback for us?
